Death Coming Review
The death is coming to you, wherever and whenever you are. A puzzle game developed by Next Studio task you to collect as many souls as possible with Final Destination style accident. You control the city, you control their destiny, you control their death. Death Coming released a long time ago on November 6, 2017, and for me, it is still a good game.
The journey begins when you’re dead, and the grim reaper hired you as an internship to collect souls. If you collect enough souls to make the grim reaper happy, you’re awarded a second chance in life. Helping grim reaper collect souls is never been fun with some funny twist and hilarious death scene. Death Coming offers you 6 levels, 2 side levels, and 1 bonus level. The game also includes various familiar scenes from a movie.
The game challenge you to create a sensible accident that could kill people and collect souls. You need to observe the NPC behavior before you make a move so the accident will cause a maximum result. This game requires a lot of creativity in the beginning. When you play enough, you started to understand the pattern and what the games want you to do. The game introduces a new mechanic every single level you progress, so you won’t get bored every level.
I always love pixel art game, it makes me bring back the old games alive, like Super Mario Bros, and the original Zelda. The game title supposed to be violence, but Next Studio creates it to be a fun and funny experience with the pixel art. Even some of them are not polished enough, but it still enjoyable. The music and the sound effect make it funnier. When a certain character dies, the game starts a hilarious death scene with a humorous last word.
I owned this game for quite sometimes and I regret it not to play immediately when I bought it. The game is a relaxing puzzle game, and also improve your creativity in problem-solving. The game is fun enough to make you enjoy and laugh for everyone. The bonus level is my favorite, where you task to kill the developer of the game itself, and for me it was hilarious.
