Well yes, but actually no. Before the game even released, people around the world were excited for the sequel where players will play as Ellie to continue the story of the post-pandemic in the United State. When it releases, players are mad since the game isn’t as good as the original The Last of Us, but it is interesting how almost all game reviewer media said that the game is 10/10.

Even though players are not happy with the game, but we can’t deny that The Last of Us Part 2 is the fastest-selling PS4 exclusive game with over 4M copies, surpassing Marvel’s Spider-Man with 3.3M. It is insane how Naughty Dog successfully marketing the game where the game has a 4.6 user score on Metacritic, make me think that user reviews are useless all along.
Even Naughty Dog didn’t win all hearts, but Naughty Dog makes more money than ever, making the game is actually successful. But on the other hand, many fans are not happy with the story decision Naughty Dog make, making it hard for The Last of Us Part 3 to even happen. For me, like everybody, the story of the game is terrible, but the gameplay and the atmosphere of the game are beautiful, unlike any other games.
