New PlayStation 5 Games
The PlayStation 5 is finally been revealed with some new 26 games announced at the Sony event on June 11, 2020. Many of the games are fresh from Sony Studios, and catch me off guard with the surprising new games at the reveal event. For now, I’m just gonna talk about my favorite games that have been revealed at the Sony Event.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales releases on Holiday 2020, PlayStation exclusive. This is the one that shocks me the most. I never expect we going to see a new Spider-Man game this year, but I’m excited about the game. The game is confirmed as a standalone spinoff to 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man, which is a really great game even I’ve never touched and played it before.
Horizon Forbidden West
This is Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel of Horizon Zero Dawn, which I already expecting it before the event. When Horizon Zero Dawn was released, the game pops up as the best single-player game out there. The game brings players to the exciting world with a really good presentation where we just like the old days of single-player games feel like. Horizon Forbidden West is an exclusive PlayStation game and we don’t have a release date yet.
Resident Evil VIII: Village
Another Resident Evil game which I’ve never seen it coming, but it’s here. From the trailer itself, the series takes a huge turn to be supernatural which is different from the original Resident Evil franchise, but it is a promising trailer. It is a sequel where Ethan, the hero in Resident Evil 7 got drag into a nightmare situation with Chris Redfield. Resident Evil 8 will hit us around 2021.
Project Athia (Working Title)
Another game from Square Enix where it is work in title, where you get the Final Fantasy XV look and vibe. The game called Project Athia, which I assume that the name of the main character, but that’s just my prediction. The game is really detail by the look from the trailer and the game will take you into the thrilling underworld monster world. For now, we didn’t get the release date.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
In 2020 we got a new Ratchet & Clank title. The nostalgia of playing this game is coming back to me. I put this game because of how incredible the loading time for Ratchet to go through the portal into a different world without a loading screen. It is going to be complex in terms of faking the teleport, but I’m 100% sure PlayStation didn’t fake it. By that, I cannot wait to jump into the game again.
